How it works

How it works

Spotify API

Saberfy utilizes a couple different APIs to obtain the data it uses to create beatmaps. It also uses SpotDL to enable to user to download the song for use with the map.

Beatsaber JSON

To get from Spotify API to Beatsaber we used Spotify's analysis API. Inside of it, we tied the beats in the Beatsaber map to each tatum in the API, and then using the analyzed tempo and note time we were able to tie down beats that go along with the song.
